Indian food is made for celebrations: lots of dishes, shared plates and something for everyone. Whether you want to book a table for a birthday or have us cater at your home, here is how to plan it.
Restaurant or catering?
For groups that want a night out, booking at the restaurant is the easiest option. For bigger events, or a celebration at home or at a venue, catering lets you bring the feast to your guests. Avatar does both.
Choose a set menu for groups
A banquet takes the stress out of ordering. Our dine-in set menus include entrees, several curries, rice, naan, sides and dessert, and suit groups of 2 or more. For groups of 8 or more, please book ahead.
How much food per person?
As a guide, plan one main per person plus shared rice and bread, with a couple of entrees for every few guests. Our team can help you balance mild and spicy, meat and vegetarian.
Think about dietary needs early
Collect allergies and dietary requirements from guests before you book. Our kitchen handles gluten, dairy and nuts, so tell us up front and we will advise what is suitable.
Book early for weekends
Friday and Saturday nights fill up first, especially around holidays. Lock in your date as soon as you can.
